Description

Prerequisite: A minimum ACT score of 27, or a minimum Compass algebra score of 90-94, or a minimum Compass College Algebra score of 72-75, or a minimum Compass Trigonometry score of 63-66, or a minimum Accuplacer College Algebra Score of 70 or above, or a minimum Accuplacer Trigonometry score of 70, or a minimum grade of C in MAT1230.
Designed for students majoring in business, social, or life sciences. Topics include limits; finding derivatives of functions (by definition and differentiation techniques), including exponential and logarithmic functions; utilizing derivatives to sketch graphs of functions and integration. Applications will be emphasized.
