Description

Prerequisite: CIS1850, CIS1870 or CIS2000 with a minimum grade of C, and one of the following: a minimum score of 18 on the ACT reading, or 250 on the Accuplacer Next Generation reading, or minimum grade of C in RDG0900, ENG0990, or ENG0090, or concurrent enrollment in RDG 0900, or have earned 24 college-level semester credit hours.
Understand basic, entry-level Unix operating system skills and command line features. Learn additional features regarding system navigation, file permissions, the vi text editor, command shells and basic network use.
