Description

Prerequisite: ACT Reading score 12-17 or Compass Reading score 51-80.
A refresher course in study activities necessary for success in college. It is designed to increase a student's reading efficiency by concentrating on improvements in vocabulary, comprehension, and reading rates. Notetaking, test-taking, and other study skills are taught as a regular part of the class. Open to all students.
PLEASE NOTE: Because this course does not apply to a degree or satisfy a pre-requisite requirement for a course that applies to a degree, ENG 0990 is not financial aid eligible.
