Description

Prerequisite: Sequential nursing and science classes with a minimum grade of C.
Continuation of Med/Surg I & II. Focuses on managing the care of the emergently ill client as well as those with reproductive, hepatic, and immune dysfunction. There is a strong emphasis on leadership and delegation to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. In addition, prioritization of care and management of multiple clients is incorporated.
