Description

Prerequisites: BUS2000 with a minimum grade of C or instructor consent.
After learning the manual accounting process, gain practical experience using a computerized accounting system. Examine electronic methods of implementing a general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, depreciation, inventory, and financial statement analysis. Examines organizations' information requirements, recording/processing/accounting for transactions, data processing concepts, system acquisition/deployment issues, and evaluating IS effectiveness for decision making.
