Description

Prerequisite: MAT0900, MAT0920, or modules MAT0020, MAT0030 and MAT0040, or higher-level math course with a minimum grade of C, or ACT math score of 15-18, or Accuplacer Next Generation Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics of 237-249 or Accuplacer Next Generation Advanced Algebra and Functions of 200-236.
An introduction to the earth sciences emphasizing the structure, materials, and history of the earth, its place in the solar system, and the processes that occur in shaping the earth. Four one-hour lectures and one two-hour laboratory per week. Includes lab.
